Account Deletion

Request deletion of your India Inventory Management account

Shop owners can request deletion of their owner account and related business data. Staff users should contact the shop owner, because staff access is managed by the owner from the Staff Access section.

How to request deletion

  1. Send an email to contact.us.indiainventory@gmail.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request".
  2. Include your registered email address, shop name, and registered mobile number.
  3. If you can still log in, you can also open Chat Support in the app and request account deletion there.
  4. We will verify owner access before deleting account data.

Data usually deleted

  • Owner profile, email, mobile number, password hash, and Google login link.
  • Staff users and permission settings created under the owner account.
  • Stock, purchases, invoices, sales, GST records, customer dues, supplier dues, expenses, and support messages linked to the account.

Records that may be retained temporarily

Some data may remain for a limited time in backups, logs, audit records, or where retention is required for legal, security, fraud prevention, accounting, or dispute-resolution reasons. When retention is no longer required, the data will be deleted or anonymized.

Expected timeline

After receiving a valid request and verifying account ownership, we will process deletion as soon as reasonably possible. If extra verification is needed, we may contact the registered email address before deleting the account.
